SEASTAR HISTORY
It all began about ten years ago in 2012
Captain Lazaros and free diver Freddy, were working for a number of years aboard various tourism vessels in the Old Venetian Harbor in Chania.
Their passion for the sea and for sea-life, as well as their need to see and learn more, could no longer keep them as employees in a large company.
Taking the first step!
In the summer of 2012 and now with their own vessel, the SeaStar RIB, which set off from the small harbor in Platanias, the ambitious team of two began exploring Theodorou Island.
Visitors to our island joined in their daily adventures and shared their experiences through various social media, forums and staple travel review sites.
A step beyond the ordinary!
In the summer of 2014, two new members joined the team...Captain Antonis and the elegant Cigala yacht!!
This lead the way to new destinations for exploration. Among these were the magical Balos Lagoon, an ancient Diktynna with its crystal clear waters and many private bays.
